Creative Endevors

Creative Endevors met in January and began the project of writing a stage play. The play called "Dreams Can Come True" was outlined by the project Creative Director. This production will be the first mult-imedia production for the theater group. Stage Scenes will be combined with pre-recordered video scenes. Discussion of the 7 scenes of Act One followed. Names were created for the main characters and homework for the Feb meeting was the first two scenes of Act One.
Act 1, Scene 1 will introduce the main male character and the choosing of a new roommate.
Act 1, Scene 2 will introduce the apartment to the new roommate and provide history for both people.

The program for the Feb. meeting will be to read each sumitted script then cut and paste a revised new script if necessary.

NEED FOR VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR

Almost all of the work of the Society is done by volunteers. We need someone to help keep a data base of our volunteers and to call some when they are needed to usher, fold programs, sell tickets, label newsletters, etc.
It would require someone who is willing to spend about 8 hours a week to tabulate lists of all the volunteers and to make phone calls when more are needed. The Job description is as follows: The volunteer coordinator will be responsible for the recruitment, retention, and recognition of volunteers to promote the future of the organization. Hours are flexible.
